Kite Attitude AKA 4 quick release, a new benchmark in kitesurfing
Several years of research and development were required to design, test and finalize the AKA 4 quick release from Kite Attitude, following the release of the famous AKA 3. The result meets expectations: a technological breakthrough that redefines the standards of kitesurfing.

A simple and fast re-engagement system
The Kite Attitude AKA 4 quick release can be reconnected with one hand only, just like a seatbelt. The click-in is intuitive, fast and secure. An ideal design for demanding riders.
Thanks to a combination of stainless steel and carbon, the AKA 4 withstands loads twice as high as Afnor and ISO standards, with no deformation or accidental release. During our tests at 700 kg, no damage was observed. Big air riders can ride with complete confidence.
Maximum safety standards
The AKA 4 quick release fully complies with Afnor NF S52-503 and ISO 21853 standards. Tests under extreme conditions showed that only 5 to 7 kg of force are required to release under 240 kg of load, equivalent to two 120 kg riders.
The most compact on the market
Thanks to a unique and patented design, the ceramic swivel is integrated inside the body of the quick release (and not on top), making it several centimeters shorter than all competitors. A real advantage for foil, wave riders, or lighter riders.
Integrated automatic untwisting
The untwisting is automatic, thanks to the ceramic ball bearing in connection with the splitter. No more twisted lines after every kite loop or snowkite session: you ride without interruption. This system also improves safety by reducing risks if the safety line is wrapped around the depower line.
Quick installation
Installing the Kite Attitude AKA 4 quick release on the bar is ultra fast: less than one minute is enough to be ready to ride.
Care & maintenance
Like any component subject to wear, some parts must be replaced regularly:
- The chicken loop rope, at least every 3 years, or more often if you ride frequently or jump every session.
- The two internal elastics (pusher and click-in system) should also be monitored, especially if you exceed 50 sessions per year or if you ride in hot areas (South of France, tropics…).
Kite Attitude, with the AKA 4 quick release, offers a very high-quality product, designed for demanding riders seeking safety, performance and everyday comfort.
