Here's how to transform your current setup to benefit from the latest technical innovations. This update kit fits your model precisely for a quick installation.

Choose your update option

You must select the AKA 3 option if you already own that version. In that case, this kit includes a central body already assembled with its chicken loop. However, upgrading from an AKA 1 or 2 model requires additional parts. In that case, you will receive the complete swivel system with the stainless tube, the rotor and its bearing. Make sure you choose the corresponding variant to receive the components required for your setup.

Steps to install your new quick release

The procedure starts by disconnecting the leash ring under your old system. Then unscrew the two rotor screws to free the main body. Remove the old block by detaching the depower line rope from the stainless tube. Then insert your new AKA 4 body in place of the old one. Reposition the depower line loop and carefully screw the rotor back on. Finally, pass your safety line through the inside before reattaching the leash ring.
