The Kite Attitude Pro Model school bar is perfectly suited to the needs of kitesurf schools and fully functional. Designed in close collaboration with instructors and training centers, it was developed based on real on-the-water requirements to deliver safety, reliability, and simplicity.
Julien Fernandez and Kelly Bonnet, from Martinique Kite School, were able to test the bar as a preview and share their feedback in a video filmed in La Palmyre and in Martinique. Their input helped refine every detail for teaching and student progression.
2025 version
The 2025 version builds on all the improvements from previous years that made it a success with dozens of partner schools:
- Premium Dyneema SK99 lines (495 kg or Race version), pre-stretched twice: first at the factory, then in the workshop.
- AKA 3 quick release: highly secure, compact, reliable, and easy to reset, with a large center hole for smooth passage of the safety line.
- Training color code: red on the left, blue on the right, ideal for teaching.
- Comfortable, durable grip for intensive use.
- Low V setup to make it easier to untangle lines in case of crossing.
- Rear pre-lines quickly detachable, useful in particular on the water.
Sheathed depower line
The sheathed depower line is available in two versions: with a PU tube (polyurethane, Made in France) or with a textile sleeve. These two finishes meet different needs.
Which sheath to choose?
- The PU sheath is the most durable over time and perfectly suited to intensive use at sea.
- The textile sleeve is softer, easier to wrap around the bar, and more comfortable to the touch, especially in cold weather or snow kite, where the PU tube becomes stiffer.
A screw-on stopper ball protects the bottom of the clam cleat in case of impact, extending the life of the equipment.
New alloy splitter
This new alloy part was tested at 700 kg of load without deforming. It provides two main functions: organizing the front line split and replacing the traditional trim pulley.
The splitter was specifically designed for kite schools to optimize the safety line. It protects the thin splice of the front line as much as possible, preventing the premature wear seen with the previous ring system.
Connected to the front line with a thin splice, the safety line runs even more freely through the quick release, ensuring a smooth, effortless release even after many teaching sessions. If your trainees release very often, the splitter is highly recommended: it simplifies the bar build and reduces the risk of mistakes.
Classic setup (pulley + trim ball)
If you prefer the classic setup with pulley, trim ball, and a sheathed front line connected to the safety line, the school bar can be delivered in this configuration on request.

- Compatible with the front line connector (optional).
Available sizes
Bar width directly affects kite responsiveness. Choosing the right size ensures optimal comfort:
- 42 cm: 3 to 6 m² kites
- 50 cm: 7 to 12 m² kites
- 55 cm: 12 to 14 m² kites
- 60 cm: 15 m² and above
Line lengths
Bars are supplied as standard with 23/24 m lines. You can choose other lengths depending on your program:
- Short lines (12 or 13 m) for teaching or windy spots.
- 10 m extensions to adjust power and the low end.

Like all Kite Attitude universal bars, the Pro Model school bar is compatible with almost all kites on the market, in 4 or 5 lines.
