This is a new ring for 2017, which replaces the traditional ring with stop ball that retains the front line that is connected to the safety rope and leash.
This special ring brings extra security, because the opening through which the line goes has always the same dimension, and will keep it overtime, unlike a stopball.

This Kite Attitude ring offers increased strength and therefore enhanced safety, thanks to a perfectly constant opening in the guide, checked by a German certification body.
Warning: it was designed for older Kite Attitude universal bars fitted with a front line featuring a thin, un-sleeved splice. A sleeved line could jam in the guide, unbalance the kite, or even come undone during a violent relaunch.
In terms of longevity, it is preferable to use the stopper ball or the splitter, which will better protect the thin splice on the front line.
Any use with non-Kite Attitude equipment is at your own responsibility.
