Choosing the width directly affects kitesurf kite handling. A wider bar makes fast turns easier, while a narrower bar gives more control in strong wind or for snowkite.
- 45 cm: kites from 3 to 6 m²
- 52 cm: kites from 7 to 8 m²
- 55 cm: kites from 9 to 12 m²
- 60 cm: kites 13 m² and above
With short lines (12 to 15 m), you can choose a slightly narrower bar.
Unlike some competing carbon bars, the Carbon Ultra benefits from an effective non-slip grip, even when wet. The hold remains firm and comfortable in all conditions.
