Overview and features
The Carbon Ultra V4 kite bar from Kite Attitude features the new AKA 4 click-in quick release for maximum safety. Thanks to the ceramic ball bearing, your lines untwist very easily and effortlessly. You can also choose the specific XS version for rope harnesses. This ultra-short version – rope slider – is perfectly suited to kite foiling or snowkiting.
The Carbon bar is made with a new manufacturing technology that reduces the weight of your bar by 30% without sacrificing strength. The tubes are hollow and particularly thin to improve airflow penetration. You benefit from more precise handling because you feel your kite better. This equipment transforms your sensations thanks to immediate responsiveness during your maneuvers.
The Carbon Ultra V4 kite bar isn’t reserved for champions; if you ride foil in very light wind, it will help you keep your kite in the air through lulls and explore the low end with more safety. Thanks to its ultra-light weight, the kite + bar setup is less likely to stall or fall into the water.
Its lightness improves control precision: you feel every movement of the kite, every gust and every wind variation with accuracy. Built to last, the Carbon Ultra bar is probably the strongest on the market. Critical areas, the center and the ends, have been reinforced to prevent any breakage, even in race competition or downwind foil. The goal is that it never breaks, whatever the discipline or wind power.
Available in 4 sizes: 45 cm - 52 cm - 55 cm - 60 cm

Options
- If you want an AKA quick release in size M (instead of S or XS), specify it in the order comments.
- If you want a 60 cm depower line (instead of the standard 50 cm for the single-pulley setup), mention it as well.
- For the double-pulley setup, a 70 cm depower line can be requested instead of the 60 cm model.
- All line lengths can be made, from short lines (11, 12, 13, 15 m) to long lines (22, 24 or 25 m). Select “Other” and specify the desired length in the order comments, or send an email alongside your order.

Which bar width should you choose?
Choosing the width directly affects the handling of your kitesurf kite. A wide bar makes fast turns easier, while a narrower bar offers more control in strong wind by avoiding the "mosquito" effect.
- 45 cm: kites from 3 to 6 m²
- 52 cm: kites from 7 to 8 m²
- 55 cm: kites from 9 to 12 m²
- 60 cm: kites 13 m² and up
With short lines (12 to 15 m), you can opt for a slightly narrower bar.

Sheathed depower line
The center line of a carbon version is a bit more abrasive than a stainless center line. A sheathed depower line is therefore strongly recommended. The textile sleeve chosen by Kite Attitude has several advantages:
- Easier to wrap around the bar when packing.
- More pleasant to the touch in the cold (PU hardens at low temperatures).
If you prefer a PU (polyurethane) depower line, simply mention it in the order comments.

Double-pulley setup
The double-pulley setup provides exceptional trimming precision, ideal for foil competition or racing. Thanks to the mechanical advantage of the two pulleys, you can adjust the trim (and thus the kite's angle of attack) down to the centimeter. Large foil kites are also easier to trim in strong wind.
This setup comes with a 12 cm longer depower line and a trim extension to adjust the kite without having to stand up, even while riding. It is aimed at competitors and riders looking for maximum performance and absolute stability in all conditions.
Single-pulley setup
The single-pulley setup corresponds to a more classic and versatile use. It is perfect for freeride, foil or snowkiting with a single-skin kite, such as the Flysurfer Peak or the Gin Marabout. Light and compact, this bar is easy to carry during mountain tours or approach hikes.
In foil, with a strutless or single-strut inflatable kite (F-One Breeze, Gong Strutless, Ozone Uno, North or Duotone Mono), the single-pulley setup feels the most natural.

Premium Dyneema SK99 lines
Kite lines are made from Dyneema SK99, the worldwide benchmark for strength and low stretch:
- Race 300 kg version for competitors and very light wind.
- 495 kg version for versatile use.
Each set of lines is pre-stretched in the workshop, ensuring perfect tension and instant responsiveness with no "chewing-gum" effect.

Non-slip grip and manufacturing
Unlike some competing carbon bars, the Carbon Ultra benefits from an effective non-slip grip, even when wet. The grip remains firm and comfortable in all conditions. The carbon bar is built like mountain bike handlebars, with compressed-air bladders inside. They compress the resin into the fiber. And finally, the assembly is done in France
