Regarding the length of the back leader line, 3 choices:
Kite attitude Safety Line connecting the leash ring and one of the power lines of the kite.
This connector is meant to connect the front lines directly to the trim pulley.
Works for all kite school bars, race foil bars, and all bars with no front leader lines (4 direct lines).

This is the shortest quick releaser on the market, with a swivel on top. It is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches shorter than usual quick releasers/chicken loops.
Highly secure: requires very little strength to release in case the kite pulls very hard (French Afnor NF S 52-503).
