By default, the bar is set up with about 50 cm between the top of the quick release and the bottom of the cleat, a length above the market average. This very versatile setup is ideal for wave riding and offers better control in gusty conditions, particularly common in the South of France.
Note: with the double-pulley setup, the depower line is about 60 cm, or even 70 cm if you opted for 70 cm.
If you want a even longer depower line (especially if you are tall), you can simply raise the cleat.
Conversely, if you are shorter or if you practice freestyle, you can lower the cleat to access the trim more easily.
Half ball.
This stop ball can be used together with a double ring connected to the safety line. A simple way to prevent the safety line from being wrapped around the depower rope after many kite loops/down loops.
This line stopper is meant to stop the control bar from reaching the kite, once you have triggered the quick releaser.
It must be installed on the line connected to the safety line, which, in turn, is connected to the leash.
