Intended use
The Totem Vario bar is designed for all kiteboarding disciplines: Freeride, Wave, Foil, Old-school freestyle.
Thanks to its quick rear-line adjustment system, the bar adapts in 2 seconds to all kite sizes. It lets you control the turning speed and responsiveness of your kite depending on your preferences and riding conditions.

Adjustments and available sizes
Totem Vario bar 55 cm
- Possible settings: 43 / 47 / 51 / 55 cm
- Compatibility: kites from 3 m² to 14 m² (up to 15 m² for newer kites).
- Ideal for riders who don’t use very large kites.
Totem Vario bar 60 cm-
Possible settings: 48 / 52 / 56 / 60 cm
- Compatibility: kites from 5 m² to 16 m².
Totem Vario bar 65 cm
- Possible settings: 53 / 57 / 61 / 65 cm
- Compatibility: kites from 8 m² to 21 m².
- Specially suited to large foil kites (Conceptair, Pansh, etc.).
Tip: by using 4 or 7 meter extensions, move the rear-line setting one notch outward to keep responsiveness.

Compatibility
The Totem Vario bar is 100% universal. It’s ready to use with all kite brands on the market: Cabrinha, Duotone, Ozone, Slingshot, F-One, Takoon, Naish, Core, Flysurfer, Eleveight, Conceptair, Gong… in 4 or 5 lines.

Available options
Low V or short Y (4 direct lines)
- The Low V option is recommended for most riders: easier to land the kite alone, less interference in loops, more comfortable unhooked riding, easier untangling and better upwind angle.
- The Short Y option is still offered for those who prefer it (the kite turns very slightly faster on the tip).
Line length
- 21/22 m: the most versatile, ideal for waves.
- 23/24 m: more power/drive, recommended for riders over 85 kg or riding in warm wind
Chicken loop
- Size S: wave, foil, kids.
- Size M: standard.
- Size L: freestyle.
- Size XS: only for rope harnesses.
